The 23rd Exchange of Inventions 24-25.03.2016 – Copernicus Science Centre
24th -25th March 2016

The 23rd Exchange of Innovations awarded worldwide at fairs and exhibitions took place at Copernicus Science Centre venue on 24th and 25th March, 2016.

Military University of Technology presented selected inventions, developed by science and research teams, awarded with medals at world innovations exhibitions in 2015.It should be noted that this project is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, represented this year by PhD., Piotr Dardziński (graduate of Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Bundeswehr University in Hamburg).

As every year, the main aim of the exhibition – organized by Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers in cooperation with Eurobusiness-Haller company – was to promote achievements and international successes of the research units, innovative economic entities and individual inventors as well as to honour the medallists of the innovation fairs for their international successes. The exhibition presented products and advanced technologies both in the research and implementation process and ready to implement and commercialization.

The Exchange was participated by the winners of the most important international innovation exhibitions which were held in 2015 in Paris, , Brussels, Nuremberg, Seoul, Taipei, Macau, Sevastopol, Kuala Lumpur, the United States of America, Romania, Turkey and Croatia..

It should be noted that Polish research teams awarded last year over 600 Grand Prix and gold, silver and bronze medals at those exhibitions.

Military University of Technology presented selected innovations developed by research teams, including:
Innovative method of thermal energy acquisition from hot dry rocks deposits (HDR) - authors: Gen., Brig., Prof Zygmunt Mierczyk, DSc., Eng.; Prof Tadeusz Niezgoda, DSc., Eng.; Grzegorz Sławiński, PhD., Eng.; Lt. Piotr Kędzierski; MSc., Eng.; Danuta Miedzińska, PhD., Eng.

High Mobility Wheeled Platform – authors: Wiesław Barnat, DSc., Eng.; Col. Przemysław Simiński, DSc., Eng.; Grzegorz Szcześniak, MSc.,Eng.

PATRON – Biomedical system analysing the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, supporting diagnostic and a process of clinical tests on neurological medicines – authors: Maj. Mariusz Chmielewski, Ph.D., Eng.; 2Lt. Marcin Kukiełka, MSc., Eng.; 2Lt. Jakub Kędzior, MSc., Eng.; 2Lt. Damian Rainko, MSc., Eng.; Rafał Wołoszyn, MSc., Eng.; Łukasz Boryczka, Eng.; medical consultation –doctor Anatol Mickielewicz.

iSULIN - mobile sensor system and needle-free method for monitoring diabetics’ health state with the use of multi-spectral photoplethysmography- authors: Maj. Mariusz Chmielewski, PHD., Eng.; 2Lt. Damian Frąszczak, MSc., Eng.;2Lt. Dawid Bugajewski, MSc., Eng.; 2Lt. Ernest Szczepaniak, MSc., Eng.; 2Lt. Krzysztof Jakubowski, MSc., Eng.

During the opening ceremony, the best of the best were honoured with statues and diplomas of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which were given by: the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – Piotr Dardziński, the president of Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers – Michał Szota and the president of Eurobusiness-Haller – Barbara Haller.

In 2015,10 institutions were honoured for their outstanding achievements in the field of innovation and successes at international exhibitions and a special activity in the field of promoting the innovativeness internationally. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Military University of Technology, represented by Prof T. Niezgoda was in the group of those honoured with an award and a diploma of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – Jarosław Gowin.

The team:Gen., Brig., Prof Zygmunt Mierczyk, DSc., Eng.; Prof Tadeusz Niezgoda, DSc., Eng.; Grzegorz Sławiński, PhD., Eng.; Lt. Piotr Kędzierski; MSc., Eng.; Danuta Miedzińska, PhD., Eng. Was honoured in this way for a project called Innovative method of thermal energy acquisition from hot dry rocks deposits (HDR)

Another award and a diploma of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – Jarosław Gowin – was granted to the team: High Mobility Wheeled Platform – authors: Wiesław Barnat, DSc., Eng.; Col. Przemysław Simiński, DSc., Eng.; Grzegorz Szcześniak, MSc.,Eng. For a project called High Mobility Wheeled Platform. The award was collected by Grzegorz Sławiński, Ph.D., Eng.

Project iSULIN – mobile sensor system and needle-free method for monitoring diabetics’ health state with the use of multi-spectral photoplethysmography was also honoured with an award and a diploma. The award was collected by Maj. Mariusz Chmielewski, PhD., Eng.

We congratulate to the inventors and people contributing to this success.
