Scientific activity

Ph.D., Eng., Piotr Szurgott conducts scientific research in the field of mechanics in the specialty of computer mechanics of materials structure.
The area of interest includes, inter alia:

  • problems of safety of transmission pipelines exploitation,
  • modelling of magnetorheological materials,
  • modelling of vehicles,
  • simulations of road bridges loaded by heavy vehicles,
  • simulations of rail bridges loaded by fast trains.
